This restaurant recently changed owners, used to be Pho Dat Phu but now the new owners changed it around and call it Pho "Hot". It seems like they try to advertise a lot and try very hard (one time I was in Vancouver and saw a van with the words PHO HOT on it with the address and everything). I received a flyer at my house, so I decided to try their chicken bread, my boyfriend T had the bread with meat balls. The chicken bread was excellent, they used the chicken that they usually use in other dishes so it had a lemon grass taste/scent. I really liked it and the chicken was HUGE, and I actually finished it. Yep. T had the meatball sandwich and enjoyed it as well. They were very generous on the meatballs. It might be because I called in and ordered in Vietnamese and they were trying to impress us so we would come back, but no one is complaining so we're good. We were both full for $10-ish, so with the economy the way it is, that's a good lunch for 2.
We ordered to-go, but I was impressed by the decor in the restaurant. It was very nice and clean, and another thing is they also DELIVER! So call them up when you're having a party or w.e, because I don't think there are much Vietnamese restaurants that deliver. I really hope they do well and don't go out of business because the last couple of owners disappeared... (food was no good). I try to eat at businesses like this because I don't want them to go out of business when they're doing something right. I mean it's not kuz their food stinks, it's just because people don't know about them. For sure check them out ^_^
